Most national AI strategies are written for high-income economies and translated afterward. Atlas AI Institute's frameworks reverse that sequence: they are drafted first for Bangladesh's institutional, regulatory, and economic reality, then structured so other low- and middle-income countries across South Asia and the Global South can adapt them directly — without waiting for governance models built elsewhere.
The four frameworks are designed to be read and enacted in order — policy foundation, regulatory architecture, transparency standards, and safety classification — so institutions can build governance capacity in stages rather than all at once.
Each framework is written as a reference architecture, not a country-locked statute — institutions in other Global South economies can adopt individual modules (e.g. the risk classification model) without adopting the entire document.
Every framework is archived on Zenodo with a permanent DOI, meaning governments, researchers, and journalists can cite a fixed, version-controlled record rather than a webpage that may change or disappear.
